A sniper of the Ukrainian First Separate Special Forces Brigade named after Ivan Bogun has destroyed the occupant with a shot from a Barrett MRAD rifle at a distance of 500 meters.

In addition, the accurate strike was also commented on the Facebook page of the 1st Separate Special Purpose Brigade named after Ivan Bogun.

"A sniper from the Bogun Brigade followed his victim for hours, studying his movements and waiting for the perfect moment to hit the occupant. The sniper knew that this was his only opportunity, and he was not going to return without his prey. With a strong arm and a keen eye, he aimed and slowly pressed the trigger of his rifle...," reports the Brigade's press service.

It is worth noting that according to military experts, the Barrett MRAD is one of the best rifles on the market. It is manufactured by the American company Barrett Firearms.

The Barrett MRAD is fitted with 10 round magazine and sliding bolt. Rifle is up to 1244mm long, depending on the barrel. It can effectively reach targets at ranges up to 1500 meters.

The Barrett MRAD is also used by the US Special Forces, Israel, Norway and New Zealand.
